“Reach out your hand…..”

Romans 10:14-15 The Message

“14-17But how can people call for help if they don’t know who to trust? And how can they know who to trust if they haven’t heard of the One who can be trusted? And how can they hear if nobody tells them? And how is anyone going to tell them, unless someone is sent to do it? That’s why Scripture exclaims,

A sight to take your breath away!
   Grand processions of people
telling all the good things of God!”

Romans 10:14-15

“14How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

This has a great message about reaching people.  The lost are searching….they are reaching….they are hurting….they are needing a touch from the Master……are we in tears from these lost souls..

Take a few minutes to listen and reflect on this video…

May we have the faith…..

Mark 2

1A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. 2So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. 3Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. 4Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”

6Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7“Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

8Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? 9Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? 10But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins . . . .” He said to the paralytic, 11“I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 12He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

May we have the faith to go the extra step to get to the feet of Jesus.

Jesus invested a lot of his ministry healing people.  As I read scriptures, healing was an ordinary part of his day.  Scripture also tells us that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Let us pray for those that are sick and need healing.  Let us pray for those who are hurting and need love.

Let us ask for forgiveness of our sins, forgiveness of our unbelief and healing for our hurts….

God Bless
